Have Your Say!

Welcome

The Civic Federation exists both to represent our many members and to campaign for a better Bishop's Stortford: a market town that operates within its own limits to growth, with a thriving market, good schools in the town, employment and training opportunities and a place where we feel safe and can enjoy ourselves, whatever our age or ability.

We are NOT simply against development but FOR appropriate development that takes us towards our aims.

Referendum New!

Highslide JS

Residents living in Bishop’s Stortford All Saints, Central, and South wards and part of Thorley Parish can vote in the referendum on Thursday 7th September on the Neighbourhood Plan for that part of the town. The plan is supported by the Civic Federation, who had a representative on the plan preparation team.

For more details, visit the Town Council's Neighbourhood Plan page.
